1. About these terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern use of the public EdVantage marketing website located at school-edvantage.co.uk and any sandbox or demo environments that EdVantage makes available for evaluation. If your organisation has entered into a separate written agreement for the EdVantage platform, that agreement takes precedence for contracted services.

2. Who may use the site

The site is intended for UK schools, trusts, and education professionals interested in EdVantage. You must be at least 18 years old and acting on behalf of an education organisation to request demos or detailed information. By using the site, you confirm that any details you provide are accurate and that you will comply with these Terms.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to EdVantage systems or data.
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, scripts, or automated scraping tools.
  • Copy, distribute, or republish content from the site without permission.
  • Misrepresent your affiliation with a school or organisation when requesting demos.
  • Use any sandbox environment to store real pupil data or confidential information.

We reserve the right to suspend or block access for behaviour that breaches these Terms or threatens service integrity.

4. Demo environments

Demo or sandbox environments are provided for illustrative purposes only and are not production systems. They may contain sample or anonymised data. You must not import personal data relating to real students, guardians, or staff. We may reset or withdraw demo access at any time.

5. Intellectual property

All site content, logos, illustrations, and training materials are owned or licensed by EdVantage. You may download materials for internal evaluation or procurement purposes, but you must not remove copyright notices, resell, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

6. Confidentiality

Some documents or walkthroughs may be shared with prospective customers under non-disclosure. You must treat these resources as confidential and not disclose them outside your organisation. Public marketing assets may be shared freely provided they remain unaltered.

7. Privacy

Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle personal data submitted through the site or demo request forms. By using the site you acknowledge that processing.

8. Disclaimers

The site and demo environments are provided “as is” for information only. We do not guarantee that the content is error-free, up to date, or suitable for every purpose. Features described may change before general availability. Nothing on the site constitutes legal or safeguarding advice.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EdVantage will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from use of the marketing site or demo environments. Our total liability for any direct loss is limited to £100. These limitations do not exclude liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10. Third-party links

The site may include links to third-party platforms (for example, LinkedIn or documentation portals). We are not responsible for the content or availability of those external sites and you should review their own terms and privacy notices.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect product, regulatory, or operational changes. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
